Tutzinger Huette in Benediktbeuern

Delicious food in a friendly host!

The view of the Benediktenwand is simply a dream. Unfortunately, we have never stayed here before, but we definitely want to do that next year. After climbing the Benediktenwand, however, we have eaten here several times and can only praise the kitchen. The soup still tastes like Grandma's back then and the Kaiserschmarrn is highly recommended. We will definitely come back here more often.

Unreasonable prices for what is on offer. Staff very unfriendly. You don't feel comfortable as a guest. Out of the question for me.

Delicious food and cozy. And I really like the atmosphere with the view of the wall.

Ascent to the hut is exhausting. There are few but beautiful views. Lots and long stony forest paths. The hut itself is very well maintained. The sanitary facilities are also in top condition. There is also a bouldering wall at the guest house. The view of the Benediktenwand illustrates the power of nature and the mountains. The food is good, the spritzers and the shandy a bit too sweet.

The hut is beautifully situated in a small valley directly on the Benediktenwand. The hut team was very friendly and welcoming. Since we would need longer for our climbing tour than expected, after I called there from the summit, food was put aside and warmed up in the microwave. (Warm meals until 7.30 p.m.) It was very quiet in the hut (we enjoyed it very much), due to Corona the camps can only be occupied by one group. Highly recommended, ascent is easy to do and not very strenuous.

Very nice hut and very well attended despite no train. Starting point for climbing the Benewand. Very nice boss and general staff. I really want to spend the night here. Even the nature around with the streams, just a dream.

Worthwhile hiking destination in seclusion and against a great backdrop. You can park well in Benediktbeuern and start the ascent from there. In a good 2.5 hours you are at the hut and can be supplied with some drinks / dishes by the nice staff at fair prices. If there is still a mood, you can also climb the Benediktenwand.

With the MTB and on foot to the Tutzinger Hütte, which is great under the Benediktenwand. After a snack on the Hüttn with nice service and good food, we can continue to the summit. Well suited as a 1/2 day trip.

My weekly training highlight! By bike or / and on foot over the Lainbachtal or the forest road to the material cable car. You are guests of Sabine, Thomas and Tini and their team, who are hanging for you! If you are new here: take all the advice seriously, we are here at 1327 vertical meters in the mountains!

Very cool place with delicious food and drinks

Can’t say enough great things about the staff, accommodation and food at this hutte. Enjoyed great atmosphere both inside the Hutte and outside of it. You just can’t beat the remarkable hike around Benediktbuern !

Fantastically beautiful place to relax. Just enjoy the peace and nature. If you do not feel like carrying a snack on the mountain, you can eat well at the Tutzinger Hütte 😋, but there is no ice cream or chips. 😉

Very nice cabin. We stayed in the "basement" in a 4 bed room. If you come from the outside via a staircase. The room is, so to speak, directly under the dining room. It was very quiet at night. The food was very tasty. Prices were completely okay, as with such huts. The view of the big wall is awesome :) You can also walk up to the summit cross and down again. Also something for not so sporty people.

The Turzinger Hütte is a great hut to stop at on your way to Benediktenwand. The restaurant serves traditional Bavarian food and had your standard drink options. The food is reasonably priced and has special menu items specifically for DAV members. The view is spectacular and is worth the hike alone. The hut has both indoor and outdoor seating as well as a few chairs to lounge in.

Beautifull walk to get there, count around 2.5 / 3 hrs, not good with small children. Food is allright, no sun in the afternoon.
